The first meeting of the mentorNET (Mentoring by Extended Networks to Organise Volunteer Resources) Partners was held in the lovely surroundings of the Royal Overseas League in central London on the 18th and 19th November 2019.
The Partners come from the UK, Poland, Germany, Italy and Cyprus and all have wide experience and knowledge of working in partnerships to support adult and migrant learning and development. For the first part of the project the Partners are focused on researching and gathering together key competences for mentoring and networking which will be used to develop an online MOOC to support volunteer migrant mentors together with a framework to support and sustain a transnational network of migrant mentors.
